distbreve
Distributed BREVE is an open-source effort to make the process of implementing asynchronous, parallelizable steve code easily distributable amongst as many compute nodes as possible.
The full name is to be refereed to and spoken of as
"Distributed BREVE," however, the tool itself is simply
named distbreve for reasons of brevity.
Note that this naming scheme parallels with others, such as
distcc (Distributed C Compiler)*, distmake
(Distributed make), and distmp3.
(Naming consistency is a good thing.)
* Not just merely the C language, but rather
includes support for C, C++, Objective-C and Objective C++.
